INTERNATIONAL PEACE AND CULTURE FOUNDATION.LTD

As we enter the 21st century, we encounter more environmental problems, such as the greenhouse effect, the destruction of the ozone layer, and deforestation. These along with other problems such as regional disputes which result in the increased amount of refugees and so on are getting more and more serious Worldwide.

As for the environmental problems, there are unusual changes in the earth's weather patterns as well as sea levels increasing due to the melting polar ice caps. These problems alter the ecological balance of the earth and affect farming and fishing quite adversely. As air and water become more polluted the amount of food produced worldwide decreases, with poorer countries being more adversely affected. Moreover, this can also cause tremendous psychological strain on the people around the world.

Today, brutal murders by young adults, sometimes children, have become a serious social problem. Furthermore, abuse from other children in schools, violent behavior by children both in school and within their families, children with learning disabalities, children addicted to drugs and other criminal acts by children are rapidly going from bad to worse. Moreover, these children are younger every year. The average age of serious offenders is younger than ever. Both the schools and the children's families are nowhere close to solving the problem. To get somewhere, we need to tackle these serious problems worldwide. We need good constructive ideas to help each other take care of these problems.

As the first step toward tackling the problem with our youth, we need to do our best to stop the further deterioration of the earth. We should make our children, our next generation of adults, understand the grave situations we are facing. The formation of The International Peace and Culture Foundation is an effort to address these problems, we want to find the answers to these problems.

This foundation will periodically hold "Save the Earth Forum" and "The World Children and the Youth Forum". These forums will be led by the USA, the UK, France, Germany, Russia, China, Japan and other Asian nations, which are all very interested in and hold the key to saving the Earth. At these forums, there will be meetings and seminars on world peace and on saving the Earth.
